Your Right to Deletion
You have the right to request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions. This right is provided under:
What Information Can Be Deleted
You may request deletion of:
- Account information (name, email, profile data)
- User-generated content and submissions
- Preferences and settings
- Communication history
- Payment information (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Usage and analytics data
Exceptions to Deletion
We may retain information when necessary to:
- Complete transactions or provide requested services
- Detect and prevent fraud or security incidents
- Debug and repair errors
- Comply with legal obligations (tax, accounting, audit requirements)
- Exercise free speech or ensure another's right to free speech
- Engage in scientific, historical, or statistical research in the public interest
- Enable internal uses reasonably aligned with your expectations
- Fulfill contractual obligations
Typically, we must retain:
- Transaction records for 7 years (tax/accounting requirements)
- Payment disputes and fraud prevention data
- Information subject to legal holds or investigations
How to Submit a Deletion Request

Complete the form found at the bottom of this page.
Email
Send a request to privacy@drese.co with:
- Subject line: "Data Deletion Request" or "Right to be Forgotten Request"
- Your full name and email address associated with your account
- Description of information you want deleted
- Any additional information to help us verify your identity
Verification Process
To protect your privacy and security, we must verify your identity before processing deletion requests. We may ask you to:
- Log in to your account
- Confirm personal information we have on file
- Respond to verification emails
- Provide additional identifying information
For high-risk requests, we may require additional verification steps.
Authorized Agents
You may authorize someone to submit a deletion request on your behalf. They must provide:
- Written authorization signed by you (or power of attorney)
- Proof of their identity
- Proof of your identity for verification
Processing Timeline
- CCPA: We will respond within 45 days, with a possible 45-day extension if needed
- GDPR: We will respond within 30 days, with a possible 60-day extension for complex requests
We will confirm receipt of your request and inform you of our timeline.
What Happens After Deletion
Once we process your deletion request:
- Your account will be permanently closed
- You will no longer be able to access paid services
- No refunds will be provided for unused subscription periods
- We will delete or anonymize your information from our active systems
- Information in backups will be deleted in the ordinary course
- Some anonymized, aggregated data may be retained for analytics
Consequences of Deletion
Please understand that deletion is irreversible. After deletion:
- You cannot recover your account, content, or data
- You will need to create a new account to use our Services again
- Previous purchases may not be recoverable
- Personalization settings will be lost
Third-Party Data
Our deletion process covers data we directly control. However, we cannot delete information that:
- Has been shared with third parties with your consent
- Has been publicly posted by you on other platforms
- Is controlled by third-party services you've connected to your account
You must contact third parties directly to request deletion of information they control.
Appeal Process
If we deny your deletion request, you may appeal by:
- Replying to our response email with your reasons for appeal
- Contacting privacy@drese.co with "Deletion Appeal" in the subject line
